£500,000 expansion plans now taking shape
Accurate Laser Cutting, who offer a specialist laser cutting and pressbrake service, are rapidly expanding thanks to their £500,000 injection into a new and improved office space and production facility.
The investment will see the prestigious laser profiling company double in size, boasting an impressive 14200 square foot area at their Oldbury base in the West Midlands. This will accommodate their continuously expanding work force with a brand new office space and equip the premises with a top of the range pressbrake facility.
The decision to expand its flagship premises comes less than 3 years after the company made a £1.2 million pound investment in two 6kw Byspeed laser cutting machines and one Amada 130 ton HFE press brake machine. Since then, production rates have continued to increase with the business noticing a sharp surge in demand for their specialist services.
Steve Morgan, Director of Accurate Laser Cutting said:
“Our previous technological investments have proved a huge success with production rates increasing by 40%. We are confident that the expansion of our premises combined with further investments in the very latest equipment will further intensify our impact on the manufacturing industry, creating bigger and better opportunities for us in the future.”
The recent investments will make headway for the arrival of a 6Kw Bystronic Bysprint 4020 Fiber Laser and two Bystronic Xpert Pressbrakes. It is anticipated that the equipment will assist with creating a solid platform for future growth of the business whilst continuing to offer customers precisely cut and folded components along with unprecedented lead times on their orders.
These additional purchases will also provide the laser cutting specialists with the ability to process 4x2 metre sheet metal as quickly & economically as possible and a heavy weight advantage over their competitors.
Jon Till, Director of Accurate Laser Cutting said:
“2015 is fast becoming a very exciting year for Accurate Laser. These new investments will not only increase our cutting bed size but will boast rapid cutting times that have never been seen before, keeping the manufacturing process as seamless as possible for our customers”
Plans are also underway to equip the new facility with an eco-friendly bio mass boiler. The £130,000 eco system will create a greener supply of heating and hot water for the entire premises, offering the business a sustainable source of energy for the future and significant savings on their overheads.
Following the completion of their latest expansion plans, it is anticipated demand for their specialist laser cutting services will continue to grow. The project is now in its final stages and is expected to be finished by early summer.
